I. Job Summary:
The job objective is to manage and support CFO in financial aspects of the business including but not limited to functions of accounting, taxation, reporting (internal and regulatory), cash management as well as funding and treasury operations. The role is expected to be a business partner with other functional departments for strategic direction setting and execution of it. In carrying out his duty, the Head of Finance needs to ensure that the Finance operations are efficient, and in compliance to local VAS and International Accounting Standards and ensuring all required safety ratios from competent agencies as well as commitments with financial partners.
II. Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Develop and Implement (25%):
• Develop and implement an effective funding strategy for the business.
• Require to ensure that the business has a strong and effective funding strategy with an aim to lower the cost of funds for the business while maintaining adequate controls are in place to mitigate business risks including but not limited to market, liquidity and interest rate risks.
2. Formulation and periodic review of accounting policy and its implementation (25%):
• To ensure accounting policies of the business are in line with local and applicable international GAAP and the financial operating systems / software are adequate to implement the same.
3. Taxation (15%):
• Continue to explore and research on opportunity to optimize operational efficiency and business process effectiveness, to support organizational growth.
4. Expense control (15%):
• Monitoring and reporting of expenses to track expenses against budget and against industry benchmark.
5. Monitor and report Operational Risk (10%):
• Develop the Operational Risk matrix and Key Risk Indicators for the financial business as well as monitor and report on an ongoing basis.
6. Business support (10%):
• Manage directly or through the group units the functions of procurement, vendor management as well as space planning and premises
Yêu cầu
1. Qualification: University Graduate, Accounting/Finance/Business Management qualification with major in Finance/Economics.
2. Work Experience:
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, covering wide spectrum in Financial Services industry.
• Practical working experience in a business-driven culture and customer service-oriented atmosphere.
• Working experience in foreign financial enterprise, an English communication environment.
• Experience in managing out of country financial reporting and approval process
3. Knowledge:
