Our strategic partner is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead the overall People agenda in Vietnam, strengthen organizational capabilities, and align HR strategies with business priorities. The role encompasses workforce planning, talent acquisition and development, employee relations, performance and rewards, HR operations, organizational effectiveness, culture, and labor compliance across the local organization.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and execute the People and Workforce Planning strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership pipeline development, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Advise
business leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, leadership development, and culture.
Lead and integrate core People & Organization functions, including HR Business Partnering, Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Culture & Engagement, and Employee Experience.
Develop and coach functional leaders to strengthen organizational capabilities, succession readiness, and operational excellence.
Partner closely with Business Heads to align people strategies with business priorities and organizational goals.
Participate in Executive Committee discussions and provide strategic advice on leadership, organizational structure, talent effectiveness, and people-related matters.
Lead the design and optimization of the company's Total Rewards framework, including compensation, incentives, benefits, and long-term incentive programs.
Drive compensation benchmarking, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives to support sustainable business growth.
Champion the company's core values and foster a high-performance, inclusive, and people-centric culture across the organization.
Lead employee engagement, recognition, culture-building, and internal communication initiatives to enhance employee experience and strengthen organizational identity.
Serve as a key ambassador for People & Culture initiatives, both internally and externally.
Oversee employee relations, labor compliance, HR governance, and sensitive people matters, including disciplinary actions, labor disputes, and workforce risk management.
Partner with Legal and senior leadership to mitigate organizational risks and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, internal policies, and ethical standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Law, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR leadership or managerial role.
Proven experience leading HR functions across multiple business units, functions, or locations, preferably within a multinational manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor law, employee relations, HR operations, Total Rewards, and labor cost management.
Strategic and business-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate business priorities into effective people strategies.
Strong leadership, people management, coaching, and talent development capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and presentation skills, with experience working with regional and global stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving, sound judgment, data analysis, and change management capabilities.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
High standards of integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and professional ethics.
