Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Head of Purchasing Department (Manufacturing, $3500, ID15984):
Responsible for managing purchasing department and supplying materials - goods/equipment for manufacturing.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet each order requirement
Sourcing for suppliers and negotiating cooperation policies to optimize business efficiency (Commodity policy, payment, debt, purchase price, discount).
Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Develop creative and innovative procurement processes
Provide management reports and key performance data and monitor cost savings
Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers
Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues
Effective budget tracking and management.
Coordination of logistics and distribution.
Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
Analyze past results, perform variant analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Implement cost saving initiatives and continuously monitor and report on cost performance.
Oversee the negotiations and contracts of all purchases made by the procurement department.
Managing, training and supporting the work of members in dept.
Requirement
Gender: Male/Female
Ages: 35 - 45 years old
Bachelor degree or higher with major in economics or engineerings fields.
Having from 05 years of experience at the same position in manufacturing industry.
Strong planning and leadership skills
Fluency in English.
