Main Objective:
Ensure Vietrose products are continually meeting quality and food safety standards set by Vietrose and their customers. Demonstrate excellent understanding of supplier capabilities, potential supplier and product risks. Comprehensive knowledge of new and existing product lines and customer requirements - ensure internal and external reporting timelines are met.
Maintain the Technical/Quality Team core values of food safety and quality, integrity and awareness, respect of others, and seeking continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Duties performed to ensure Vietrose products meet with company, customer and industry standards, and are delivered on time and within specification.
- Maintain and develop effective relationships with Suppliers, other teams and Customers. Clearly communicate and effectively problem solve potential concerns that have the potential to affect quality and safety of products.
- Responsible for the production & quality aspects of food manufacture within Vietrose; including maintenance of quality systems and food safety protocols. Ensure all products (food and packaging) and processes are aligned with legal requirements and Market Access and customer guidelines.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the QA Department; leading and developing the QC team with increased cross functionality, increased training and longer-term planning priorities.
- Develop templates, specifications and complete customer technical documentation.
- Implementing improvements to systems; including supporting other company departments as required.
- Setting budget figures and controlling the technical budget.
- Ensure inspection summaries and reports are distributed to customers accurately and in a timely manner, define and trend reporting parameters.

- Must have good communication skills - verbal and written. Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, team and customers
- Conduct Supplier Audits with the customer and verification activities, ensure skills and training are maintained.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, effectively under pressure. Be flexible with availability - travel to other provinces for works is required.
2. Education and Experience
- Medium to advanced English skill.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related field.
- Knowledge of industry food standards codes, HACCP, BRC, and other international GFSI standards.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment, effectively under pressure. Be flexible with availability and self-motivated
- Expected to lead a team of 7 people with 3 direct reports; so both experience and the ability to communicate professionally and competently are key attributes for the role. Mentoring and training to ensure cross functionality. Must be able to work in a team environment and have a positive attitude. Ability to build an effective and positive working relationships with suppliers, colleagues and customers.
Location: 8/3 Võ Trường Toản, An Khanh ward, HCM city and travel to other provinces for work when necessary.
