JOB DESCRIPTION
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Legal Assistant who will work in the Legal and Compliance Department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Reviewing legal documentation and providing legal consultation on the operational activities of a university.
Assisting in legal research and implementing assigned tasks in crucial projects of the department.
Perform high-level administrative support to the department head, including finalization of application dossiers, legal document achievement and filing, dealing with administrative problems and inquiries, as appropriate.
Organizes and facilitates department conferences, workshops, and seminars. Schedules and coordinates dates and times, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities.
Assist in the performance of various financial and budgetary tasks including preparing and monitoring budgets, preparing reports, and utilizing the appropriate process to pay for goods or services purchased by the department.
Supports the department by performing all other duties as assigned by the department head.
REQUIREMENTS
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Typically requires a Bachelor of laws and at least 01 working experience year in a reputable law firm or legal department of corporation or in the final year for law study (at Hanoi Law University, University of Law - VNU, College of Law- FTU).
Diligent, enthusiastic, detail - oriented, analytical, and communication skills.
Have the ability to multitask and experience prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, understands and follows policies and procedures, and accommodates change.
The position requires good judgment and the ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with discretion.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
English is the language of teaching and communication at VinUniversity. For this role, the candidate needs to have good written and verbal communication skill in English. The minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 6 (or equivalent).
