1. Duties and Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
Create visually appealing graphics for various digital and print materials including social media posts, newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials.
Assist in designing layouts for school publications and brochures.
Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity across all marketing materials.
Web Content Management:
Update and maintain the school's website content to ensure information is accurate, engaging, and up-to-date.
Upload and manage multimedia content (photos, videos, etc.) on the website and internal portals.
Assist in creating and editing web pages using the school's content management system (CMS).
Internal Portal Updates:
Manage content updates on internal communication portals to ensure staff, students, and parents have access to current and relevant information.
Assist in the development of new content for internal communications.
Social Media Assistance
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns:
Create engaging social media content that aligns with the school's brand and marketing goals.
Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
Events:
Assist in event planning and execution
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with the MarComs team to support various marketing and communication projects.
Provide creative input and support for upcoming marketing campaigns and events.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
2. Position Requirements
Educational Background:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content creation and scheduling (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva).
Creative Skills:
Strong eye for design and attention to detail.
Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive graphics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional Attributes:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
