Innovation Business Analyst is responsible for identifying emerging business opportunities, analyzing market trends, evaluating innovative solutions, and supporting the development of new products, services, and business models. This role bridges business needs, technology capabilities, and innovation initiatives to drive organizational growth and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

Innovation Analysis & Strategy

Research industry trends, emerging technologies, customer needs, and market opportunities.
Identify innovation opportunities that align with business objectives and strategic priorities.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to evaluate potential disruption and growth areas.
Develop business cases for innovation initiatives, including cost-benefit and ROI analysis.

Business Analysis

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business challenges into actionable innovation opportunities and solutions.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams.
Define functional and non-functional requirements for new products, processes, or services.

Project & Product Support

Support the development and implementation of innovation projects.
Collaborate with Product Managers, IT teams, Operations, and business stakeholders.
Monitor project performance, risks, and success metrics.
Assist in pilot programs, proof-of-concept (POC), and testing activities.

Data & Performance Analysis

Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities.
Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for management decision-making.
Measure innovation outcomes using KPIs and business performance indicators.

Stakeholder Management

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and validate solutions.
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management.
Foster a culture of innovation across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, Innovation Management, or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Strategy, Innovation Management, Product Development, or Consulting.
Experience working on digital transformation, process improvement, or innovation projects is preferred.
