• Design and build the concepts and logic for the model to assess various types of risks as required.
• Optimize the bank's existing data systems.
• Document the systems, concepts, and rules for model building.
• Perform quality checks, validation, maintenance, and updates of data models to meet the bank's changing needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related fields.
In-depth knowledge:
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and model design thinking.
Skills:
• Thorough understanding of data normalization processes and data modeling for data warehouses.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of practical experience in data projects, including experience in building/managing databases.
Technical skills and tools:
• Proficient in technical tools for querying and processing complex data such as SQL, SAS, Python.
• Proficient in modeling tools (Case tools) such as SQL
Developer Data Modeler or similar, or data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Other data knowledge such as metadata management and data quality rules.
Analytical and logical thinking:
• Able to translate complex business requirements into technical models.
