BCG-SP Greensky JSC (BSG) is a Joint Venture between Bamboo Capital Group (a Top 500 Largest Enterprise in Vietnam listed on Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange) as well as SP Group (a leading energy utilities company in Asia Pacific based in Singapore with total assets exceeding US$15B). We aim to develop and transform the renewable energy industry in Vietnam.
The purpose of the role as HSE and Compliance Manager is to assist the CEO office in managing all business related HSE plans and Risk analysis. Ensuring compliance with Business Policies and Process, HSE, Electrical Regulations and the Electrical Installation Codes of Practice of Vietnam and International.
You will be required to attend site surveys, visits to work in progress sites, and during commissioning tests when necessary. To ensure that HSE and Business compliances are met through the entire execution process till handing over of site, operation, and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
1. Compliance/Internal Control
Reports to CEO and Deputy CEO;
To manage, supervise and be responsible for the Corporate Compliance and Internal Control activities, including orientation, assignment of roles/tasks, guidance, training, and development of professional skills for team member to support and ensure that the Corporate Compliance and Internal Control function operate effectively, contributing to the overall development of the Company.
To develop, manage and monitor compliance programs and internal control systems to ensure compliance with laws and regulations and Company policies; to well coordinate with relevant departments and departments to implement compliance requirements.
To timely notify, record and report all arising issues related to Compliance to the Head of Compliance as well as the Company.
To conduct investigations, prepare reports and advise leaders on disciplinary measures in accordance with the Company's internal rules and regulations.
To inspect, monitor and support implementation of Anti-Bribery and Corruption policies, Anti-Money Laundering Policy, Economic and Trade Sanctions Compliance Policy, and other policies/programs of the Company. Implementing/coordinating the implementation of requirements, programs, reports related to Global/Regional Compliance of Group.
To be actively planning and implementing compliance awareness programs, periodic/thematic compliance training for employees.
To implement annual inspection and assessment plan on compliance with regulations (Compliance review plan) of Departments in the Company.
To implement other tasks as assigned by the direct Manager and the Company.
2. HSE
Providing Health, Safety and Environment related input from initial assessment through site based initial reports to ensure safe platform to execute feasibility, construction monitoring and acceptance and ongoing operations for both roof top and ground mounted systems.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction concerning all facets of HSSE and delivery.
Monitor and report, through audits and inspections, on the compliance of the EPC Contractor's HSSE management system implementation and effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Be fully conversant with all government and Client health and safety legislations, regulations and guidelines; provide assistance and advice to the Project Manager, Engineering/Construction Manager responsible for HSSE.
Produce and implement safety plans and review and approve the EPC Contractor plans; contribute towards developing HSSE objectives for the project; monitor and report on the implementation and effectiveness.
Assist with the identification of HSSE training needs, deliver training and monitor delivery and record.
Monitor and report on the implementation of the approved HSE objective; produce HSSE performance reports as required. Promptly alert Client functional management of accidents and incidents
Where appropriate, be involved in the investigation and ensure that the findings are reported, appropriately shared and closed out.
Review accident and incident report; identify any trends and ensure that there is an appropriate response to prevent future occurrence.
Attend and if required, chair HSSE meetings and take minutes for any corrective action; conduct and / or assist in HSSE inductions.

Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English/Vietnamese;
Bachelor's degree in business, in Engineering or relevant HSSE
At least 3-8 years of working experience in compliance/risk/audit/HSE.
Experience in Renewable Energy, Rooftop Solar is preferred.
Strong HSSE awareness and commitment
Possessing certification in OHSA certificate is preferable.
Team player with ability to communicate effectively at all levels to solve daily operational matters;
Experience in MNC/Top 500 Largest top Enterprise companies preferred;
Experience/Trained in ISO or other relevant standards preferred.
