Purpose of the Position
• Manage and monitor environmental activities to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Support preparation, implementation, and follow-up for SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), especially in the areas of environment, health & safety, labor, and business ethics.
Responsibilities & Duties
Environmental Management
• Monitor, record, and report environmental indicators (wastewater, air emissions, waste, energy, noise, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits, local legislation, and customer requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of environmental management
• Supervise waste segregation, collection, storage, and disposal activities.
• Conduct environmental awareness training for employees.
SMETA Aud
it Support• Collect, prepare, and maintain documentation and records required for SMETA audits (environment, health & safety, labor, working hours, wages, and business ethics).
• Participate in the audit process, respond to auditors' inquiries, and provide explanations when needed.
• Follow up and support corrective actions for non-conformities identified during audits.
• Supporting and working under the assignment of HSE Supervisor.
• Directly reporting to HSE Supervisor.
• Working from 8:30 to 17:00 from Monday to Saturday.
• Having monthly and yearly KPI.
Academic & Trades Qualification
• Health, Safety and Environmental Engineering.
