HSE Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE
Provide advice and support to the organization's various departments to ensure the highest standards of Safety, Occupational Health, and the Environment for the normal development of the company's operations.
MAIN TASKS
- Monitor field activities.
- Monitor fire system equipment.
- Monitor spill equipment in the field.
- Review of emergency equipment stock requirements.
- Monitor the proper segregation of hazardous materials.
- Make effective use of radio and official communication channels to process requests to other departments on HSE standards compliance.
- Monitor the order of the signage in the yard and its correct location.
- Conduct drills and training for HTIT staff and the brigade.
- Verify the implementation of field safety policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the firefighting system network.
- Verify the implementation of policies, training, and monitoring for high-risk work (pedestrian safety, mobile equipment, cargo handling, work at height, engineering, insulation, confined spaces, handling of hazardous chemicals, hot work, hand and live tools, handling of pressurized gases, electrical hazards, excavations, among others).
- Update stock table of materials (Fire Protection, Spill Kit, PPE, and other accessories).
- Purchase required HSE equipment and follow up.
- Conduct training and induction instruction and registration.
- Conduct inspections of the terminal's safety equipment (fire extinguishers, work-at-height equipment, rescue equipment, fire-fighting equipment, among others).
- Track accidents, incidents, inspections, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Supervise own and third-party activities to ensure they are carried out in accordance with HTIT safety and environmental policies.
- Manage Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental programs, monitor environmental impact studies, fire protection systems, field spill prevention equipment, and the proper placement and order of yard signage.
- Implement and comply with Dangerous Goods Procedures.
- Implement policies and training for operational and engineering work.
- Review of emergency equipment stock requirements.
- Planning of periodical environmental audit conducted by a third party
- Review and correction of periodical reports for submission to local authorities as per regulations
