Role - An IMC Manager is a client-facing consultant who leads integrated marketing communication solutions for key clients. This role focuses on understanding business challenges, shaping strategic directions, and orchestrating end-to-end campaign delivery to ensure impactful results and sustainable client growth.
Concept - An IMC Manager plays a critical role in bridging business problems with communication solutions. Rather than simply coordinating execution, this position requires the ability to think strategically, consult clients, and lead integrated solutions across multiple touchpoints.
He/she is expected to take ownership of both client growth and project delivery, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with client objectives, commercially viable, and effectively executed. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to a strong consulting-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Management & Consulting:
Leads and develops strong relationships with key clients as a trusted advisor.
Understands client business, market context, and communication challenges to provide strategic recommendations.
Translates client needs into clear communication directions and integrated solutions.
Leads the development of proposals, scopes of work, timelines, and cost structures.
Identifies business opportunities to expand client portfolios and drive revenue growth.
Presents strategic recommendations and project updates with clarity and confidence.
2. Integrated Project Leadership:
Leads end-to-end delivery of IMC campaigns from strategy to execution.
Orchestrates resources to ensure seamless implementation across touchpoints.
Ensures all deliverables meet agreed objectives in terms of quality, timeline, and effectiveness.
Proactively manages risks, changes, and challenges throughout project lifecycle.
Works with external partners where required to deliver integrated solutions.
3. Performance & Business Management:
Monitors campaign performance and translates results into actionable insights.
Provides strategic reports and recommendations to clients.
Manages project financials, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability.
Ensures proper follow-up on contracts, payments, and project closure.
4. Team Development:
Mentors and guides junior team members in both execution and thinking approach.
Promotes a consulting mindset within the team.
Encourages collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Professional Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
At least 4-6 years of experience in agency or consulting environment.
Strong experience in IMC campaign planning and client management.
Proven ability to think strategically and translate business needs into communication solutions.
Strong client management, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Commercial mindset with understanding of project financials.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Good command of English, both spoken and written.
