About the role:
An Import - Export Executive works to manage and oversee imported goods into a country. Import - Export jobs involve charging, costing and arranging the movement of goods and flow of paperwork to ensure Customs clearances are obtained quickly and deliveries are made in good time.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Operations Management: Lead and oversee end-to-end import and export operations, including order placement, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and customs clearance to ensure timely execution and full regulatory compliance.
Documentation & Compliance Control: Manage all import/export documentation, customs declarations, HS code classification, duty and tax calculations, and specialized procedures such as temporary import-re-export.
External Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities to ensure compliance and manage product testing, licensing, and product declaration dossiers.
Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Monitor shipment status, inventory levels, and
purchasing plans; proactively resolve issues regarding shipment delays, damaged or missing goods, and customs bottlenecks.
Cost Control & Internal Collaboration: Optimize logistics costs and collaborate closely with Warehouse, Accounting, Sales, and other internal departments to ensure seamless and efficient supply chain operations.
