The In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) Engineer is responsible for monitoring and controlling product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role ensures that products consistently meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will manage supplier quality, maintain quality systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and waste while achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

You will be part of the CCS Quality Division, a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional product quality. Our team works closely with suppliers, vendors, and multiple internal departments to uphold quality standards and support operational excellence.
What You Will Do
Monitor and improve supplier quality through audits, capability assessments, and performance tracking
Enforce in-process manufacturing quality standards by ensuring procedures and instructions are properly applied
Train and coach team members on product specifications, machine and instrument setup, and operational performance
Analyze quality data to identify defect trends and root causes; implement corrective and preventive actions
Participate in quality meetings involving plant teams, suppliers, and vendors to address defects, complaints, and improvement opportunities
Support trial runs and product transfers related to 4M changes (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and supplier quality issue resolution
Lead or support quality improvement projects to meet departmental quality and delivery objectives
Develop and maintain digital systems for quality KPI tracking and reporting using platforms such as Power BI and SharePoint
Ensure compliance with company standards on:
- 6S & Kaizen
- Environmental Health & Safety
- RBA & Social Responsibility
- Protection of company assets
Support Molex TQM, Six Sigma, ISO, and EH&S systems by following policies and procedures.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering preferred)
Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
Internal audit certification (e.g., IATF 16949 or ISO 9001)
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma
Proficient in reading engineering drawings and operating measurement/testing equipment
What Will Put You Ahead
Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt)
Experience with quality management systems including ISO, IATF16949, RoHS, and SAP
Familiarity with digital quality management tools and platforms like Power BI and SharePoint
Demonstrated skills in training, coaching, basic management, and Kaizen methodologies
