Industrial & Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities (Expanded IE & Flow Optimization Focus)
Industrial Engineering & Flow Optimization
• Analyze, design, and optimize material flow, workflow, and information flow across production lines.
• Optimize line layout, workstation design, logistic routes, supermarkets, kitting, FIFO lanes, and point-of-use material delivery.
• Develop one-piece flow, cell layout, or hybrid flow models to match production requirements.
• Perform line balancing, time studies, and work element analysis to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput.
Master Data Management (BOM / Routing / Cycle Time)
• Build, update, and maintain accurate BOM, Routing, and Cycle Time in ERP/MES systems.
• Define process steps, operation parameters, and standard work content.
• Ensure data integrity to support planning, costing, and production scheduling.
Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement
• Lead Lean initiatives: 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, Heijunka, Visual Control, Standard Work.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping (Current State) and design Future State Value Stream aligned with Lean material flow.
• Identify and eliminate waste (muda), unevenness (mura), and overburden (muri).
• Improve OEE, reduce lead time, and lower WIP through structured CI projects.
Process Improvement & Automation Support
• Propose improvements for equipment, tooling, CT reduction, and workstation ergonomics.
• Analyze production data (OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle efficiency) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with automation/engineering teams on new equipment or semi-auto solutions.
NPI - New Product Introduction
• Develop process flow, CT targets, workstation design, and layout for new products.
• Support trial builds, pilot runs, DOE, and process capability studies.
• Ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production with full documentation.
