Information Security Officer

The position

The Information Security Officer position is for our client, who is an international group, headquartered in Belgium, and active in the fintech industry. Aurify has a very strong connection with this client, and we work together with them for several IT services. At this client, you'll be responsible for managing and maintaining the Information Security Strategy and Operations.

What you'll be doing

• Assess the current information security operations and programs and define a further enhanced group information security strategy, policies and operating model aligned with our business objectives
• Drive and steer the information security strategy with clear business aligned objectives and set up reporting requirements of information security operations and risks
• Advise business and product leads in the implementation of information security aspects towards a secure system development life cycle implementing product security roadmaps
• Propose solutions for information security issues and challenges
• Interact and inform management, compliance, legal, sales, development-and delivery teams and (security) operation teams by embodying a clear information security strategy and its operational requirements and policies
• Initiate and follow-up on security audits, pentests and risk analyses
• Be knowledgeable for information security requirements from suppliers and customers
• Enhance the information security awareness and culture within the organisation

Requirements

• Experience (+5 years) in the Information Security branch for international organisations
• High affinity with cloud security and financial payments institutions
• High affinity with information security standards and best practices (e.g. NIST) and how to translate these into operations and towards customers and suppliers
• High affinity with logging, monitoring, vulnerability-and incident response management
• Experience with internal-and external audits (e.g. ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIS2, DORA...)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is an absolute plus
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge about DORA regulation
• Nice to have experience in working together with a motivated SecOps team, setting the priorities, do the follow up as project manager.

• Excellent communication-and stakeholder management skills to work constructive and in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to translate information security requirements and technicalities towards business profiles
• Project-and people management skills for international security initiatives and enable internal teams
• Be assertive, knowledgeable and trustworthy
• High degree of responsibility and autonomy

• Flexible working hours, off on Saturday and Sunday. Annual holidays leave will be following Vietnam law and as company regulations.
