Innovation Manager (Highly Competitive, Negotiable Salary)

In Vietnam, Spectre operates three modern GORE-TEX-certified factories in Ninh Bình (Nam Định), Hưng Yên (Thái Bình), and An Giang, specializing in the production of waterproof garments. The company is also continuing to expand its production capacity by building an additional factory in Hưng Yên (Song Tra Industrial Zone). To support this growth strategy, Spectre is currently seeking an experienced Innovation Manager.
Role Overview
Drives new value creation across product, materials, technology, and business models. Focus is future oriented. Leads initiatives that introduce new technologies, materials, processes, and digital solutions to transform the garment manufacturing process. This role focuses on Spectre strategy, future growth, automation, sustainability innovation, and enhanced product capabilities to ensure the company stays competitive in the global apparel market.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage development projects in VN innovation team for innovative constructions, functional features, and technical solutions, working within customer defined material parameters or utilizing internally sourced materials
• Present our capabilities and core products, technologies and competences to customers
• Responsible for developing and presenting Spectre collection and customer key styles
• Optimize new manufacturing processes (sewing techniques, special technologies).
• Collaborate closely with the Product & Innovation Manager and Sales/Key Account Management to interpret customer requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions
• Plan, prepare, and facilitate technical and innovation workshops with customers, in alignment with the Product & Innovation Manager, the PPD department, and Sales/KAM
• Lead the development and creation of technical concepts, prototype briefs, feasibility studies, and cost/efficiency assessments
• Coordinate prototype development, internal testing, and the seamless handover to production for all innovation-related projects
• Prepare clear and structured reports on the status of innovation projects and the progression of the innovation funnel
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and management on the progress and status of Innovation Department projects.
