About the Role
BUV's Corporate & Industry Engagement (CIE) department builds and manages BUV's relationships with Vietnam's leading employers, in support of the department's 24-month strategic roadmap targeting the country's Top 200 companies. The Head of CIE requires a capable, discreet, and detail-oriented intern to provide executive administrative support, research assistance, and support in preparing and managing her LinkedIn presence, freeing up capacity for high-value external engagement and strategic partnership work.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate to gain first-hand exposure to corporate partnerships, higher education strategy, and executive operations within a premier British university in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support
- Calendar management: scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and flagging scheduling friction (e.g. tight Hanoi-Ecopark travel windows) ahead of time.
- Inbox triage and organising day-to-day correspondence; drafting routine emails for the Head of CIE's review.
- Document filing, and maintaining CIE records, contact lists, and partner documentation in good order.
- Coordinating logistics for corporate partner meetings, site visits, and CIE events (room bookings, materials, catering, and travel arrangements).
- Supporting basic expense tracking, invoice follow-up, and procurement paperwork for the CIE department.
Content & Research Support
- Conducting desk research on target companies within Vietnam's Top 200, industry trends, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Note-taking of meeting notes, and formatting them into structured summaries with clear action items.
- Preparation and formatting of decks, one-pagers, and partner-facing materials (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Updating BUV's CIE partner tracker/CRM with accurate, up-to-date information following meetings and outreach.
- Assisting to collate briefing materials ahead of the Head of CIE's external meetings and calls.
LinkedIn & Personal Brand Support
- Content drafting: preparing draft LinkedIn posts and captions from the Head of CIE's talking points, meeting notes, and partnership updates, for her review and approval before anything goes live.
- Scheduling and formatting: formatting approved posts, sourcing or resizing supporting images, and scheduling publication at agreed times.
- Engagement monitoring: tracking comments, messages, and connection requests on the Head of CIE's LinkedIn profile, and flagging items that need a personal response.
- Performance tracking: maintaining a simple log of post reach, engagement, and follower growth to inform future content planning.
- Confidentiality: nothing is published under the Head of CIE's name without her explicit sign-off; all drafts stay strictly within agreed messaging.
