Reporting to the Finance Accounting Manager you will be responsible for:
• Monitor inventory sale in transactions and propose adjustment entries when necessary
• Calculate COGS according to accounting policy
• Review accounting entries related to inventory movement with respective accounting subteam (PtP for sale in and Brand for sale out)
• Perform monthly reconciliation between goods movement transactions, inventory accounts and COGS
• Develop inventory analysis reports, identify unusual movement and transactions
• Coordinate with logistic department to monitor order status
• Attend periodic stock count
• Ensure compliance with internal control guidelines related to inventory management vs sales practice & assist with improvement in internal controls related to inventory & logistic management
• Communicate and cooperate with other Finance & Accounting team members for month-end closing to ensure compliance with legal regulations and management requirements
• Coordinate with auditors
• Provide recommendations to inventory management process and support the transition to ERP
• Ad-hoc accounting assignments
