Job Summary:
Mermaid Maritime Vietnam, a Danish owned company, seeks a meticulous and organized QC/Inventory/Procurement Assistant to support our inventory management, quality control, and procurement activities. The successful candidate will oversee local logistics and freight, tool management, spare parts and stock control, PPE, materials and consumables, and stock control of specific items. Additionally, the role involves performing QC checks on receivable goods, QC before delivery, managing stock control, and maintaining company assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels for spare parts, materials, consumables, and PPE.
• Monitor stock movements and ensure timely replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock audits and resolve discrepancies.
2. Quality Control:
• Inspect receivable goods to ensure they meet company standards.
• Perform quality checks on goods before delivery to clients.
• Ensure packaging meets quality standards for delivery.
3. Local Logistics/Freight:
• Coordinate and manage local logistics and freight activities to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
4. Tool Management:
• Maintain and manage tools, ensuring they are available and in good condition for use.
5. Maintenance of Company Assets:
• Maintain and manage company/workshop assets and company cars, ensuring they are
in good working condition.
6. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the sales team, engineers, and technicians in the workshop, and your
procurement executive to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality and inventory
objectives are met.
• You will report directly to Procurement Executive

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, quality control, or procurement.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
