Job Summary:
Mermaid Maritime Vietnam, a Danish owned company, seeks an experienced Inventory and QC Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control and quality assurance. This role is critical in ensuring the operational efficiency and quality standards of our products. The Inventory and QC Manager will handle inventory tracking, quality control checks for incoming and outgoing goods, packaging, and stock control. The successful candidate will work closely with our sales team, engineers/technicians in the workshop, and the procurement team to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Control:
- Develop and implement inventory control systems and procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and order new items as needed to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
- Analyze inventory data and forecast future inventory requirements.
• Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain quality control standards for incoming and outgoing
goods.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of receivable goods to ensure they meet
required specifications.
- Perform quality checks before dispatching goods to clients to ensure all
products meet the quality expectations and standards.
• Packaging and Shipping:
- Oversee the packaging process to ensure that all items are properly and safely packaged for shipment.
- Develop packaging standards and procedures in compliance with legal and
safety guidelines.
• Stock Control:
- Manage and track stock levels, deliveries, and shipments to and from the
company.
- Conduct regular stock reviews and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and
ensure product quality aligns with their expectations.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to resolve quality issues.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure that purchasing
specifications meet quality standards.
• Reporting:
- Prepare reports on inventory and quality control for senior management,
highlighting any issues or improvements.
