1. Communicate with international clients and/or render written and oral advice to clients on various legal and other issues which fall under the practices of the firm, including, but not limited to, IP Prosecution;
2. Analyzing cases, drafting documents, preparing advice, and reporting to clients;
3. Provide thorough analytical and practical proposals and advice to clients and potential clients in a timely manner;
4. Respond to enquiries from clients and potential clients in a timely manner;
5. Work directly with examiners for all filing and IP disputes;
6. Handle Trademark/ Patent Search, Opposition, cancellation, invalidation, appeal or licensing and franchising contracts
8. Perform other tasks relevant to or in connection with the foregoing; and
9. Other tasks as requested by the nature of the position and senior attorneys.
Yêu cầu
This opportunity would suit a proactive self-starter, a diligent and career-focused lawyer/IP Attorney who wants to deal with IP disputes for global clients. In addition to the foregoing practical experience requirements, you will have:
1. At least five years of post-qualification experience in IP laws;
2. Law degree/ IP Certificate. Lawyer or registered IP attorney is an advantage;
3. Fluency in English both speaking and writing;
4. Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and research skills;
5. Excellent problem-solving ability and good organizational skill;
6. Strong commitment to client service;
7. Proven track record in working with examiners on IP disputes;
8. Hard working, responsible and reliable person;
9. Active, enthusiastic and proactive manner;
10. Team player.
