Responsibilities
Local IT Operations
Manage and maintain local IT infrastructure including end-user devices, servers (physical & virtual), network equipment, and conference room technology - in line with HARTING's global IT standards.
Provide first- and second-level user support, handle troubleshooting, and ensure system availability, backup integrity, and IT security compliance.
Administer user accounts, licenses, and access rights; support onboarding and occasional IT training for end users.
Central IT Collaboration
Act as the local counterpart for central IT teams, contributing to global IT projects and ensuring alignment with centrally managed systems, policies, and ticketing/asset management tools.
Coordinate with local and international service providers to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
IT Governance & Administration
Oversee local IT budget planning, vendor contracts, and compliance with software licensing and data privacy regulations.
Communicate IT needs and requirements between the local organization and central IT; uphold HARTING's IT standards and security policies across all systems.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or professional certification in IT (e.g., Microsoft MCSA/MCSE or equivalent).
Several years of hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, ideally within a larger or international organization.
Technical Skills
Solid experience across the full IT stack: Windows desktop and server environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking (LAN/WAN/WiFi), SQL databases, virtualization, and mobile device management.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements
Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication and coordination skills.
Adaptable, self-driven, and comfortable working both independently and within international teams.
Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours and travel internationally.
