The IT Intern supports daily IT operations of the Bank by assisting in system maintenance, user support, and basic technology projects. The role provides hands-on experience in a regulated banking environment, focusing on applications, infrastructure, and compliance with banking policies.
IT Operations & User Support
• Assist IT staff in daily IT operations and routine system tasks.
• Support end users with basic hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in setting up computers, printers,....
• Help monitor system performance and report issues to senior IT staff.
Systems & Applications Support
• Assist in maintaining core banking system, satellites applications.
• Daily EOD process.
• Applications test as per
IT manager's assignment
• Help document system configurations and operational procedures.
Network & Infrastructure Support
• Support basic troubleshooting.
• Help maintain asset inventory for IT equipment
Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare and update technical documentation and user manuals
• Assist in preparing IT reports and presentations when required
• Maintain records of incidents, service requests.
Other Tasks
• Support IT-related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager or Supervisor
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Technical Knowledge
• Windows OS and/or Linux fundamentals
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Platform)
• Basic understanding of:
o Computer hardware
o Networking concepts
o Databases and programming (SQL, Java, Python, )
Skills
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions carefully
