IT Business Partner (ITBP) ensures that technology align with business objectives, manages demand intake, and drives the successful delivery of IT solutions that enhance banking operations, customer experience, compliance, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
- Understand business strategies, objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and IT teams.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
2. Demand & Portfolio Management
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
- Manage IT demand intake and project pipeline.
- Evaluate business cases, benefits, risks, and resource requirements.
- Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.
3. Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and customer experience.
- Support digital banking initiatives including Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Open Banking, API Banking, and FinTech integrations.
- Participate in IT roadmap planning and technology investment decisions.
- Recommend innovative solutions to drive operational efficiency and revenue growth.
4. Project & Program Support
- Collaborate with PMs, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Vendors.
- Ensure business requirements are translated into functional and technical solutions.
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, and change management activities.
5. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure technology solutions comply with banking regulations and internal policies.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Information Security teams.
- Support regulatory projects and audits.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years experience in Banking, Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analysis, Digital Transformation,
- Experience in Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, Treasury, or Digital Banking.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
