Own IT procurement activities across all assigned categories: sourcing, vendor evaluation, quotation comparison, and recommendation preparation for software/SaaS, hardware, IT outsourcing, and digital transformation projects.
Support procurement planning and budget control, including spend tracking, variance analysis, Total Cost of Ownership evaluation for IT categories.
Manage IT vendor relationships: performance tracking, SLA monitoring, coordination, and issue resolution within defined governance frameworks.
Conduct spend analysis and cost optimization initiatives for IT categories; identify contractual and vendor risks; propose mitigation strategies to the
Purchasing Manager.
Actively participate in IT and digital transformation projects from early stages; collaborate with IT stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into procurement specifications.
Prepare purchasing reports, data, and materials for internal reviews and management decision-making; maintain accurate procurement records and vendor databases.
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent gained through experience
3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience, with at least 1 year directly managing IT categories (software, hardware, or IT services)
Demonstrated ability to analyze costs, manage budgets, and conduct TCO or spend analysis
Hands-on experience with IT vendor evaluation, contract review, and SLA monitoring
Proactive risk identification mindset able to flag contractual or vendor risks before they escalate
Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP or procurement tools (SAP, or equivalent)
Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) for vendor negotiation and internal reporting
Experience managing SaaS license agreements subscription models, auto-renewal traps, user-based vs. usage- based pricing
Familiarity with IT outsourcing contracts T&M, fixed-price structures, milestone-based payment terms
Exposure to digital transformation projects and working alongside IT
project managers
Working knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts cloud services, servers, networking
