The Job
As a Senior Java Developer, your role will involve building and implementing high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for the development and management of Java Spring Boot applications while adhering to best programming practices.
- Designing, developing, and delivering applications for mission-critical systems.
- Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code in line with best programming practices.
- Reviewing, testing, and debugging team members' code to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to understand user needs, provide coding assistance, and create comprehensive software solutions.
- Identifying and analysing user requirements to inform application design.
- Defining and integrating user server-side logic.
- Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in Java and Spring Boot technology.
Your Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Java Developer
- Expertise in at least one popular Java framework (like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Struts 2).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Agile/ Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
- English: intermediate+
- Be willing to go onsite (allowances will be added)
