What role will you play as a member of the Colgate's Information Technology team?

As a team lead / manager you will manage a team in the implementation of a program of Supply Chain projects, coordinating internal resources for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure resource availability and allocation, and see that projects are delivered timely, within scope and within budget. You should have the ability to lead by influence, including the delivery of multi-functional and transformation projects. You will have responsibility for managing the resources optimally for the delivery of production support and timely completion of grid projects. You will mentor and coach the team to support them to grow in their career path.

You are a Function / Technical Specialist -

Perform the design, testing and applications of SAP systems configuration in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards
Understands and applies Information Technology standards
to daily support and project implementation activities
Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to tackle sophisticated business processes and procedural problems

You connect the dots -

Maintain Production Systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes
Support day to day business requirements according to global SLA
Deliver solutions to seek business requirements considering priorities and resources available
Ensure the accurate use of Information Technology project management methodology of GIT 5 Step

You are a collaborator -

Conduct periodic interactions with business teams to review solutions, provide insights, identify gaps and actions
Partner with internal Information Technology organizations such as Global Development, Risk Management and the Americas Shared Service Organization and other multi-functional business units as vital
Keeping business teams advised in case of system unavailability

You are a people manager -

To ensure timely team deliveries on support and projects
Plan for career growth opportunities for the team through the various organisation initiatives of performance management and development
You are a project manager-
Be part of or lead organizational task forces, action learning projects
Excellent project management skills
Leading a multi-functional project from an end to end perspective
Involved in selection/finalising of vendors/applications
Document detailed specifications of configuration design, test and training programs
You are a strategic problem solver -
Initiate plans for continuous improvement
Acquire future technology know-how through research, PoCs or pilots

What you'll need...(Required)

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related subject
12+ years in an IT role in developing, configuring and implementing one or more SAP ECC Supply Chain modules (Sales & Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing) and/or SAP APO modules (Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, PP/DS, GATP)
Demonstrable understanding of different technologies and have a broad approach to resolving issues
Strong oral & written communication skills
Good conceptual skills
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root cause
