The Experience
In today's dynamic retail environment, it is an exciting time to be a part of the Marketing team at Colgate.
As the Manager Strategic Analytics for the Home Care division you will:
- Enable business growth and efficiency in the US and Canada Home Care Category by applying advanced analytic techniques to traditional and emerging sources of data.
- You will contribute to a culture of business integration, innovation, and continual improvement in Strategic Analytics, and Manage and execute best in class strategic analytic capability for Home Care category.
- This role will also be responsible for the management of standardized reporting tools to modernize data across North America marketing.
Your responsibilities are :
- Consult with HC Brand and CDO partners on key issues, defining the best analytic solution, completing analysis on own and /or with support from suppliers (ex. Nielsen, Sequoya, Kantar, Analytic Partners)
- Build annual strategic analytic plans in support of business strategies and goals. Refine plans as business priorities evolve.
- Implement strategic analytic initiatives including MMM (Marketing Mix Modeling), pricing, revenue management, portfolio optimization/assortment, shopper decision hierarchies, and predictive forecasting.
- Actively drive action based on the learning in partnership with the business to drive growth.
- Regularly review business, key drivers, and identify issues/opportunities
- Identify core insights and partner with marketing and sales teams to activate learnings, supervise business results, assess business impact, and apply learning for continuous improvement
- New product tracking (share, distribution, Share of voice), promotion and coupon tracking/analysis, Category growth drivers for long term.
- Nielsen Consumer and shopper trends through Household panel and shopper data sources
- Integrate with other areas of insights to present a holistic picture of consumer and shopper.
- Keeps updated of major Category initiatives and shares key Category analytic initiatives & results to build opportunities for integration.
- Be the lead in standardized 5P data reporting and visualization for all categories.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability of 5 to maximum 10 years of proven experience in CPG (Consumer Products Goods) industry, or other relevant sales/marketing experience.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years in syndicated and advanced analytics.
- Experience working with multiple sources of data and suppliers (Nielsen, IRI, Shopper data, other Analytic suppliers).
- Experience on Nielsen Data/platforms.
- Proficiency in fundamental tracking and business review including Nielsen Nitro/Connect and HH panel fundamentals (Source of Volume, new product tracking, segmentation, shopper conversion/leakage, penetration, switching)
- Pricing & promotion, elasticity and modeling, forecasting and predictive analytics, portfolio optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Statistics knowledge.
