What You Will Do:
Develop In-Vehicle Apps: Build core Android Automotive apps using Java/Kotlin (Launcher, System UI, Setup Wizard).
Smart Vehicle Features: Create custom cockpit modes (Valet, Camping, Car Wash) and climate control screens.
HMI & UX Implementation: Partner with UX
designers to craft high-precision, multi-language vehicle interfaces.
Quality & Collaboration: Fix bugs, participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and join technical sessions with global teams.
What You Will Learn:
Production-Grade Android: Master system-level architecture, strict code reviews, and OEM release discipline.
Android Automotive (AAOS): Understand AAOS architecture and key differences between Car HMI and Phone UI.
Global Product Standards: Practice multi-language UI engineering and high-standard UX implementation.
What You Need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT,
Software Engineering, Electronics, or related fields (Graduated 2026 or graduating by mid-2027).
Core Skills: Solid foundation in Java or Kotlin (university-level basics work great!) & comfortable with Android Studio.
Communication: Good English reading/writing for technical documentation and bug reporting.
Mindset: Eager to learn and curious about tech - no prior automotive experience needed!
Nice to Have:
Personal Android projects, hackathons/competitions, or Play Store apps.
Exposure to MVVM or Jetpack Compose.
Basic Chinese (a bonus for smoother technical mentoring with international engineers).
