Junior Broker, Treaty - Reinsurance

Key Responsibilities
The primary scope of this role is to support the Director - Client Management in the preparation and organisation of data and underwriting information for new and renewal accounts, handling Special Acceptances, and providing technical support during the negotiation and placement of treaty contracts.
• Prepare pre renewal and post renewal presentations for treaty clients.
• Handling underwriting, and consulting work which is based on experience of dealing with quotations for prospect businesses, analyzing offers from insurers and proposing primary recommendations.
• Prepare and organise data & underwriting information for the production of contractual documents- including but not limited to information packs, slips, endorsements, addendum;
• Perform technical analysis of statistics and other underwriting information supporting the negotiation and placement of renewal or new business. This includes the usage of e-placement platform for information dissemination and quotation/placement.
• Follow up and coordinate the signing of contractual documents at the conclusion of placement, leading to the production of cover notes for the Reinsured.
• Support Director - Client Management in communications with clients and reinsurers
• Handle Special Acceptances, ensuring timely responses and high client satisfaction.
