KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data Architecture & Pipeline Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to move and transform data from disparate sources into our Data Warehouse/Data Lake.
- Product-Centric Data Modeling: Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand feature roadmaps and design data models that align with business logic and user needs.
- AI & Innovation Support: Optimize data flows and Vector Databases to support internal AI Multi-Agent projects and advanced OCR capabilities.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune data systems for maximum speed and reliability, ensuring low-latency access for product applications.
- Governance & Security: Implement data quality checks and ensure compliance with high-level security standards (such as PCI-DSS) to protect user and partner data.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Data Analysts to provide clean, structured datasets that drive product insights and informed decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Programming Mastery: Proficiency in Python or Scala. Ability to write clean, production-grade, and testable code.
- Data Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), NoSQL, and Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka).
- Cloud Infrastructure: Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, Athena).
- Modern Data Stack: Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Data Modeling: Expertise in dimensional modeling, schema design, and experience with Vector Databases for AI applications.
- Product Mindset: A strong "product-first" mentality-understanding not just how to build, but why it matters for the end-user.
- Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on system scalability and data integrity.
- Communication: Ability to bridge the gap between technical complexity and business requirements.
- Agile Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
