Junior Designer / finished artworker

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive job briefs from the Account Manager. Ensure that the Account Manager and INDICIA team members are kept fully informed at all stages of relevant projects
2. Generate error free, press ready artwork for printing, follow all industry standards with regard to preflighting and colour management. Ensure designs are set up to print / display correctly, and that there are no issues with the final product going to the printer.
Liaise with internal client stakeholders to obtain detailed brief
Undertake artwork services as briefed by the internal client for the following categories: Develop new artwork; Amend existing artwork; Resize existing artwork
Manage approval cycle and seek final client sign-off as per the agreed process. Ensure artwork meets the clients brand and colour standards/guidelines
Provide creative design and colour advice when required
Provide print ready artwork for final print production. Review printer proofs prior to client review and check on Quality of images, Fonts, Layout, and Colour
Ensure all checks and quality-control steps are taken at all stages of each job so that the highest standards are achieved
Ensure project stakeholders are regularly informed of project status via daily and weekly emailed updates.
Ensure accurate and timely storage of all artworks. Responsible for maintaining full and proper artwork file management within the INDICIA system
Adhere and manage to productivity targets
3. Collaborate with the other members of the studio team to enable on-time delivery of work. Liaise with all required internal/external resource and suppliers where appropriate.
4. Uphold best practice of agreed processes, systems and technologies to facilitate delivery of topnotch work. Adhere to standard operating practices across the Client/INDICIA studio and central production hub.
5. Help maintain a robust, consistent approach to work sharing across the INDICIA studio network
