About the Role
As a Video Editor at Lollypop Design Studio, you will be part of a multidisciplinary creative team, turning ideas, stories, and brand messages into engaging visual content.
You will work closely with our Content, Marketing, and Design teams to create video content across social media, marketing campaigns, brand communications, events, and other creative initiatives. Beyond editing, we are looking for someone who understands how to build a story through pacing, visual rhythm, sound, motion, and creative details.

Responsibilities
● Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing campaigns, brand communications, events, and internal communications.
● Transform creative concepts, scripts, storyboards, and raw footage into engaging and visually compelling video content.
● Develop video narratives through editing, pacing, transitions, sound design, music, typography, and visual effects.
● Create basic to intermediate motion graphics, text animations, logo animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
● Capture and edit photo and video content for offline activities, events, workshops, and studio initiatives when required.
● Retouch and enhance event photography and visual assets for social media and marketing communications.
● Collaborate with Content, Marketing, and Design teams to understand creative objectives and translate them into effective video outputs.
● Work closely with the team to follow the editorial and content calendar and ensure creative assets are delivered on time.
● Contribute creative ideas and suggest new visual approaches, formats, trends, and storytelling techniques for video content.
● Adapt video content into different formats and aspect ratios for various digital platforms, including social media.
● Maintain consistency with Lollypop's visual identity and creative standards across all video content.
● Organize project files, footage, assets, and working files in a structured and efficient manner.
● Stay updated on emerging video trends, editing techniques, motion design, and content formats.
● Support the creative team and managers with other video, motion, and design-related tasks when required.
Qualifications
● 1-3 years of experience in video editing, motion design, multimedia production, or a related creative field. Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are also welcome to apply.
● Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
● Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma is a plus.
● Strong understanding of video editing principles, visual storytelling, pacing, composition, transitions, typography, and sound.
● Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation; experience with After Effects is a strong advantage.
● Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, or YouTube.
● A strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, storytelling, or multimedia projects.
● Understanding of different video formats, aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform requirements.
● Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual quality.
● Ability to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into engaging visual content.
● Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment, explore new visual styles, and keep up with evolving content trends.
● Good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
● Proactive, responsible, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
● Basic verbal and written communication skills in English, as you will collaborate with a global team.
