Supervise the daily opening, operation and closing of the Kids Club in accordance with approved hours, capacity limits and safety procedures.
Prepare and communicate daily and weekly activity programmes that are age-appropriate, inclusive, engaging and aligned with hotel occupancy and family profiles.
Ensure every child is properly registered, checked in and released only to the authorised parent or guardian in accordance with established procedures.
Conduct daily briefings, allocate duties and ensure all Kids Club team members are informed, appropriately groomed and ready before commencing work.
Welcome children and parents warmly, learn their preferences where possible and explain activities, operating rules, age restrictions and collection arrangements clearly.
Maintain the Kids Club, play areas, furniture, toys, equipment and storage areas in a clean, organised, hygienic and child-safe condition.
Inspect toys, games, craft materials, furniture, playground equipment, first-aid supplies and safety devices daily; remove defective items from service immediately.
Monitor attendance and staffing to maintain approved capacity and supervision ratios, escalating any shortage or overcrowding concern to the Cluster Front Office Manager.
Apply child safeguarding, missing-child, suspicious-person and unauthorised-collection procedures without exception, requesting Security support whenever required.
Identify training needs and coach team members in activity delivery, child engagement, safeguarding, hygiene, first aid, emergency response and guest service.
Maintain complete knowledge of family facilities, hotel services, emergency contacts and activities suitable for children and accompanying families.
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering and Food & Beverage to respond promptly to family requests and operational needs.
Review daily arrivals, departures, groups and family occupancy to anticipate Kids Club demand and special requirements.
Attend and contribute to briefings, meetings, drills and training sessions as assigned by management.
Prepare efficient daily and weekly rosters and duty allocations to cover operating hours, peak periods, breaks and planned activities.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, registration, authorised collection, incidents, injuries, lost property, supplies and activity participation.
Obtain and record relevant information from parents or guardians regarding allergies, medical conditions, behavioural needs and emergency contacts, while respecting privacy.
Report maintenance, repair, pest-control and deep-cleaning needs promptly and follow up until hazards are rectified.
Conduct scheduled safety, hygiene and safeguarding checks and document corrective actions.
Organise activity demonstrations and re
fresher training to ensure programmes are delivered consistently and safely.
Monitor consumable usage and maintain adequate par stocks of arts, crafts, games, cleaning and operating supplies within the approved budget.
Ensure all team members comply with hotel policies, safeguarding standards, applicable legal requirements and approved supervision procedures.
Respond calmly to injuries, illness, behavioural concerns or emergencies; provide first aid within certification and activate the Emergency Response Plan when required.
Handle guest feedback professionally, resolve service concerns within authority and escalate significant matters to the Cluster Front Office Manager.
Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.
Relevant educational background, vocational training, academic degree, or professional
qualification applicable to the position and commensurate with the position level
Relevant experience in a similar position and/or within a similar scale of operation, commensurate
with the position level.
Good knowledge of relevant SOPs, operational standards, health & safety requirements, and
workplace regulations.
Good communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
Strong commitment to service excellence and professional standards.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Relevant professional certifications and English proficiency are advantages, depending on the
position.
