Lead Engineer Unity

Job Summary
We're seeking a Unity Lead Engineer with a vision for creating immersive, innovative experiences in
mixed-reality environments.

You'll lead the design and development of cutting-edge Unity-based applications, collaborating with a cross-functional team of animators, designers, and AI/ML engineers to bring groundbreaking ideas to life.

● Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative Unity-based interactive
applications.
● Mentor and inspire the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation,
and excellence.
● Collaborate with animation leads, designers, and AI/ML engineers to integrate creative and
technical elements seamlessly.

● Optimize application performance, ensuring high-quality user experiences across platforms.
● Plan, estimate, and allocate tasks effectively within the distributed team, ensuring project
milestones are met.
● Oversee the creation of Unity animation plugins and improvements to the animation
pipeline.
● Document scalable processes and technical solutions for current and future development
efforts.
● Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
● Stay updated on the latest Unity developments and apply innovative techniques to enhance
the product.
● Contribute to hiring and onboarding top engineering talent to build a high-performing team.

● Extensive experience in Unity development, including trigger events and external C#
scripting.
● Strong track record of delivering captivating, high-quality applications.
● Advanced knowledge of Unity animation editor, animation trees, blend states, and
motion-matching techniques.
● Proven ability to lead and manage distributed teams, including task estimation and
allocation.
● Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing team members.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering a cohesive and transparent work
environment.
● Adaptable problem-solver who thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.

Preferred Skills:
● Experience with advanced animation systems or Learned Motion Matching.
● Familiarity with AI/ML integration in Unity-based projects.
