Experience: 5-7years Bangalore

Technical Skills Required

B.E / B. Tech preferred in Computer Science from a premium educational institution
5-7 years of professional software development experience developing mission-critical applications in a production UNIX environment with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role
Strong technical skills in C++/Java, MySQL, Oracle, UNIX, Apache, Netty and Tomcat
Expertise in two or more of these fields is mandatory: Databases (or Large Data stores) / Networking / OS /Distributed Computing / Grid Computing / Web Services

In-depth Experience with

Common web services protocols (DNS, HTTP, SSL, REST)
Understanding of scalability considerations in designing high-performance servers
Unix operating systems (especially Linux) and system calls
TCP/IP networking and network programming
Hashing and caching, disk/memory tradeoffs
Memory management, threads, I/O performance optimization
Ability to drive the problem resolution process from start to finish
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
Thrive in a cross functional team on high profile, critical projects
Strong skills and proven record of designing and implementing multi-tier web solutions
Strong debugging/diagnostic and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Can learn and implement new technologies quickly and effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
History of delivering successful software products on time
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience with entire software development lifecycle including requirements, specification, documentation, testing, release and maintenance

Nice to have / willing to learn:

Background in 24x7 operating environments will be very valuable
