Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements in both Vietnamese and English, including those involving international partners and clients.
Provide legal counsel on the company's business operations, commercial activities, and investment matters.
Monitor and analyze changes in Vietnamese legislation and relevant international regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant and well-informed.
Support the resolution of disputes, complaints, and legal issues, and liaise with regulatory authorities when necessary.
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across business functions.
Communicate and work directly with foreign clients, partners, and entities with cross-border elements.
Advise management and departments on legal matters arising during the course of business operations.
Develop and maintain a structured legal knowledge base and update legal documents relevant to the company's business activities.
Proactively communicate newly enacted laws, regulations, and policies to relevant departments, ensuring timely understanding and implementation across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law from Hanoi Law University or the School of Law - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
At least 4 years of experience in the legal field, preferably in foreign-invested companies or IT companies serving international markets.
Strong understanding of Vietnamese laws, with foundational knowledge of international law and trade agreements.
Understanding of the company's strategies and business areas.
Strong legal thinking and the ability to interpret and apply legal regulations related to the company's operations effectively.
Good English reading, drafting, and negotiation skills, with a minimum TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent certification.
Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Careful, risk-aware, and analytical mindset with the ability to propose practical legal solutions.
