Review and do the yearly forwarders tender.
Works closely with forwarders on the best routine (lead-time and efficiency cost).
Manage contracted forwarders for smooth operation to meet shipments requirement.
Buy insurance for shipments base on the needs.
Review and evaluate the forwarder's performance (quarterly / yearly).
Update & report status of shipment weekly.
Follow up shipment with forwarders from order releasing time to shipment arrival at port.
Request & check HBL, freight invoice to match with supplier's documents & customs clearance requirement.
Inform & send documents to related teams (
purchasing, customs clearance coordinator, brokers) when shipment arrives at final port.
Prepare request of payment for forwarders & insurance company.
Claiming insurance agent/ forwarders if any damage occurs due to transportation.
Checking quotation from current forwarders & new forwarders to get the best rate for new brand's shipment or when requested.
Prepare service contract for new forwarders.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related fields.
At least 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations.
Good knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, customs clearance, and logistics documentation.
Experience working with forwarders, insurance companies, and customs brokers.
Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
