JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution. The role involves overseeing the warehouse team to ensure efficient, safe operations in accordance with company policies. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, improving warehouse operations, and meeting warehouse KPI targets.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all materials and finished goods are stored properly.
- Supervise the receiving and dispatching of products to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products to DC/restaurants.
- Support line manager to develop/adjust policies and SOP to enhance warehouse efficiency and safety.
- Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement changes.
- Implement aligned strategies to improve warehouse processes and workflows.
- Optimize space utilization, product organization and warehouse layout to increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment and coordinate with ME team to repairs as needed.
2. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using FEFO principle.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
- Manage inventory levels to timely notify goods close to expiration date (if any) to the related stakeholders.
3. Team Management:
- Supervise and lead warehouse team members, including training, scheduling, performance evaluations and feedback providing.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Ensure that all warehouse staff adhere to safety and operational procedures.
4. Quality control:
- Ensure that all incoming materials meet 4Ps quality standards.
- Collaborate with QA/QC departments to perform monthly quality audit and identify & follow up improvement area
5. Communication:
- Coordinate with the production and planning team to ensure that warehouse operations align with production and delivery schedule.
- Provide regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and team performance.
WHO ARE YOU
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a factory or warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to analyze and improve warehouse processes.
- Proficiency in using ERP/WMS and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the F&B industry.
- Knowledge of lean management principles.
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics.
