RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules, considering factors such as workload, resource availability, and material availability.
2. Material Planning: Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components required for production.
3. Demand Forecasting: Analyze customer demand patterns and collaborate with the sales team to forecast future demand accurately.
4. Resource Allocation: Optimize the utilization of available resources, including manpower, equipment, and machinery, to meet production targets.
5. Production Monitoring: Monitor and track production progress, identifying bottlenecks or delays, and taking proactive measures to address them.
6. Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, conducting periodic stock audits, and coordinating with the warehouse team.
7. Production Reporting: Prepare reports on production data, including output, cycle times, and efficiency metrics, to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing process improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
9. Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality control, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of activities.
10. Compliance: Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to production planning, safety, and quality standards.
