1.Job Objectives:
• Organize and supervise all maintenance activities within the EED scope.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely, stably, reliably, and meet production requirements.
• Implement PM, CM, and PdM programs to reduce breakdowns, downtime, and recurring failures.
• Effectively manage maintenance manpower, materials, contractors, and resources.
• Provide accurate maintenance data and reports to the EED Manager/Management.
2.Reporting Structure & Coordination:
• EED Manager / Maintenance Manager → Maintenance Supervisor → Mechanical / Electrical / Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinate regularly with Production for machine shutdown planning, PM, and breakdown handling.
• Coordinate with EHS regarding Machine Safety, LOTO, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with
Purchasing/Warehouse regarding spare parts, materials, and inventory.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, and suppliers/contractors on engineering projects.
3. Key Responsilbilities:
A. Daily Maintenance Operations
• Assign tasks to technicians by shift/day and priority level.
• Monitor equipment condition and handle maintenance requests.
• Coordinate resources to restore equipment in the shortest possible time while ensuring safety.
• Inspect repair quality before handing equipment back to Production.
• Monitor critical, prolonged, and repeat breakdowns.
B. PM/PdM Planning
• Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly PM plans according to EED direction.
• Control PM Compliance and overdue activities.
• Inspect lubrication, transmission systems, temperature, vibration/noise, pressure, electrical systems, electrical panels, and safety devices.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend replacement or repair before failures occur.
C. Breakdown, RCA & Improvement
• Lead technical breakdown response within the authorized scope.
• Conduct or coordinate RCA for critical/repeated failures using 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Track CAPA and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Propose improvements to increase MTBF and reduce MTTR and downtime.
• Identify high-frequency failure equipment for improvement programs.
D. Materials & Spare Parts
• Monitor Critical Spare Parts and spare-part availability.
• Coordinate with Warehouse/Purchasing to ensure required materials are available.
• Control cases of prolonged downtime caused by material shortages.
• Propose Min/Max/Safety Stock levels based on equipment criticality and usage history.
E. Machine Safety & Compliance
• Ensure technicians comply with safety regulations and LOTO requirements where applicable.
• Inspect Emergency Stop, Guard, Interlock, Sensor, Safety Rope, Limit Switch, and other protective devices.
• Coordinate with EHS to handle Machine Safety CAPA.
• Do not hand over equipment to Production until all safety requirements are met.
F. Technical Team Management
• Assign, guide, and supervise technicians.
• Assess competency and identify training needs.
• Develop a Training Matrix/Skill Matrix for the maintenance team.
• Ensure critical equipment has qualified personnel capable of handling maintenance issues.
G. Contractors & Modification Works
• Supervise maintenance, installation, relocation, and equipment modification contractors.
• Review work methods, schedules, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate inspection, commissioning, testing, and equipment handover.
• Ensure technical records and handover documents are properly updated.
4. Reporting & Data Management
• Daily/weekly/monthly breakdown and downtime reports.
• PM Compliance and overdue work reports.
• Track MTBF, MTTR, Repeat Breakdown, and Machine Downtime.
• Report Critical Equipment status.
• CAPA and Machine Safety reports.
• Spare-part usage and shortage reports.
• Update repair history and equipment data in CMMS/Excel or the system specified by EED.
• Bachelor's/College degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supervising/coordinating technical teams.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems, Pneumatic/Hydraulic systems, Motors/Drives; PLC and control systems are an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Ability to analyze maintenance data and use Excel/CMMS.
• Ability to communicate in and understand technical English.
