The Job
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize Agile testing metrics to monitor and report on the quality of the software.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that new features and bug fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Your Skills and Experience
- Agile Testing Metrics: Experience in applying Agile testing metrics to assess and improve software quality.
- Software Testing Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Domain Expertise: Experience in testing complex domains/projects such as Banking, Insurance, or Finance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- English Communication: Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for daily meetings and direct interactions with cross-country Managers.
