Makino Vietnam is seeking 5 experienced engineers for a future role as a Manufacturing Specialist within the company
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembly Engineer:
- Learn and perform basic assembly tasks of CNC machines processes.
- Understand the use of tools and equipment in assembly operations.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards during assembly processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency.
2. Process Engineer
- Gain knowledge of process engineering principles and practices.
- Assist in process optimization projects and learn to use engineering tools & software.
- Understand and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production processes.
3. Quality Control
- Learn quality control and assurance principles and techniques.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits on CNC machines and components.
- Use measurement and testing equipment to ensure product quality.
- Analyze quality data, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
4. Supplier Quality Engineer
- Understand the role of supplier quality engineering in manufacturing.
- Participate in supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments.
- Communicate quality expectations to suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
- Handle non-conformance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions with suppliers.
5. PIC Engineer
- Assigned production processes, ensuring stable operation and meeting production targets.
- Monitor daily production performance (output, yield, downtime) and take immediate actions to address any abnormalities.
- Analyze and resolve production-related technical issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and update work instructions (WI), SOPs, and process standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., productivity, cost reduction, defect reduction, cycle time optimization).
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and process setup, ensuring readiness for mass production.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S requirements in the production area.
- Train and provide technical guidance to operators and technicians to enhance skill levels and performance.
