Job Summary
Your role is Marine Autonomy Technician. Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with operations and clientele, directly reporting to the Operations Lead. You are meticulous, hardworking, and equally comfortable working at operational sites (nearshore and offshore), sea trials, and a normal cubicle in the office. You are comfortable with travelling as a part of your work to be deployed at remote sites on vessels and offshore platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate our HAUVs for inspection of customers' underwater infrastructure in a very new way from the current method of doing things with greater robotic intelligence, instead of manual pilot skill dependent.
Operate the system as a HAUV instead of just a Remotely operated vehicle (ROV)
Help to develop and contribute to the concept of operations for Autonomous Marine work
Prepares field equipment pre and post deployments
Assists Engineering in investigating and resolving on-site and off-site issues and tickets.
Assist Engineering with electrical and mechanical integration and assembly of parts.
Assist Engineering with rigorous testing for pressure, vibration, EMC-EMI, thermal, corrosion and other environmental requirements.
Assist with Logistics, such as updating of administrative documents and collection/delivery of parts.
