Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.
As a Market Responsibility Specialist supporting the local market, you will be responsible for ensuring that we are constantly growing our understanding of regional and local trends and risks on YouTube. You will proactively monitor trends and intelligence sources, help to launch new product features with market and language knowledge and ensure our enforcement guidelines are informed by your market knowledge.
You'll help implement and enforce our policies across pieces of content videos, as well as define and implement operational plans globally, liaising and working with stakeholders in areas like Product Management, Engineering, Vendor Operations, Analytics, Public Policy, PR, Partnerships and Legal. This role may review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.
