Responsibilities:
- Produce compelling content that meets specific business objectives for specific audiences and generates awareness, interest, and demand for Waverley's services and solutions
- Develop copy and other content for campaigns that support Waverley's marketing, branding, and positioning
- Write and edit succinct, impactful, SE-optimized copy for web and digital formats, including landing pages, blog posts, case studies, sales materials, email copies, and other content
- Use various tools to research the effectiveness of the content you produce and contribute to the overall content marketing strategy (e.g. keyword density analyzer, readability metrics, etc.)
- Communicate with engineers and project managers to collect technical details and verify the quality of technical content
- Develop stories that effectively communicate with specific audiences
- Work proactively, drive initiatives, independently find relevant topics, single out company's value and find new ways to describe it
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a content writer
- Impeccable written English skills
- Basic understanding of SEO principles & SEO content creation
- Completed test task (received from the recruiter after an HR interview)
- Good level of business English communication skills
- Have a strong interest in content marketing and innovative technology
- Have a willingness to learn, creativity, and the ability to work in a team
- Be a self-starter who can focus on the task to completion
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Will be a plus:
- A portfolio of written works (preferably on technology-related topics)
- Previous experience with copy related to the IT/software development industry and the knowledge of relevant terminology
- Experience living/studying/working in the US
- Bachelor degree in English philology/translation/linguistics
