POSITION SUMMARY
Marketing Lead is responsible for strategic and operational management of the CA portfolio, translating BU direction into brand plans, go-to-market and trade programs, and ensuring disciplined execution across channels. The role understands BU strategy and drives portfolio performance through cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Technical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance) including launch excellence, demand planning coordination, and A&P effectiveness.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Market & Product Analysis:
Assess market needs, customers/petowners insights and identify opportunities for new animal health products through market research and feasibility studies.
Conduct competitive analysis, margin reviews, and cost optimization for existing products.
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop integrated communication plans across the dynamics of omni channels aligned to sales priorities and customer journey.
Lead product strategy &
trade marketing planning in translating BU strategy then keep track execution: promotional programs/materials across channel including clinics/e-com.., campaign deployment.
Lead annual/quarterly marketing planning and manage A&P budget allocation to maximize ROI.
Demand Forecast & Inventory Coordination:
Drive demand forecasting process in partnership with Sales and Supply Chain; monitor assumptions, risks, and inventory health to support service level/forecast accuracy and business growth
New Product Launches
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of new product launches, including launch readiness, internal training, and external communications. Coordinate with Technical, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales to ensure timely and compliant product introductions.
Oversee the creation of the launch toolkits, including promotional materials, digital content, technical documents, and sales aids tailored to veterinarians, customers and pet-owners. Monitor & review post-launch performance through algined KPIs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Sales Enablement & Collaboration:.
Provide sales enablement guidelines and toolkits (key messages, value propositions, selling materials, campaign playbooks, launch/activation toolkits) to ensure sales teams are aligned with product/service strategies; support the BU Lead in tactical business planning to drive sales growth and profitability
People Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to achieve BU financial goals.
Stakeholder & Industry Engagement:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with veterinary clinics, livestock producers, and strategic partners to maximize A&P budgets.
Represent the company in relevant animal health associations and industry events to ensure strong brand visibility and influence.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Veterinary or Life Sciences background preferred.
7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or product management, ideally within animal health or pharmaceuticals.
Experience managing budgets and executing marketing initiatives.
Good understanding of the animal health industry.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Results-driven with strong business acumen and resilience under pressure.
Proactive, accountable, and capable of driving change.
