THE ROLE
Marketing Manager will lead branding and marketing campaigns for RMIT University Vietnam to achieve domestic and international growth in enrolments. The position will oversee campaign planning and implementation across various platforms, ensuring for effectiveness, reach and ability to generate quality leads for undergraduate, postgraduate and pathway programs at RMIT Vietnam. The Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with the peers in Student Recruitment and Marketing teams in both Hanoi and Saigon South to contribute to develop the annual plan and strategic direction for promotional messages and university branding that complies with the RMIT global brand and appropriately reflects the strategic goals of RMIT Vietnam.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop points of differentiation for RMIT Vietnam programs offerings to build key marketing messages for prospective students, parents and stakeholders;
- Develop and lead a marketing calendar for each school across RMIT Vietnam, to support ongoing promotion of current programs as well as new program launches;
- Lead marketing campaigns across a range of traditional and digital channels to build awareness, engagement and generate leads to contribute to student enrolments;
- Work collaboratively with RMIT Melbourne to ensure compliance and synergy with the RMIT global brand and provide advice to university stakeholders about the RMIT Brand guidelines and its application;
- Provide strategic advice and market insight to contribute to setting strategic direction;
- Collaborate with Market Research Department to coordinate market research projects to gain market intelligence, insights and trends;
- Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns on a monthly, semester and yearly basis;
- Manage financial resources for the Hanoi Marketing Department;
- Lead and develop the Marketing team in their performance and provide appropriate training and support.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- A degree in a relevant discipline with at least five years of experience in marketing management.
- Experience in successfully managing marketing and campaign strategies with significant strengths in digital marketing.
- Excellent people management skills with experience of managing and developing staff.
- Proven planning, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven interpersonal, negotiation and cross cultural communication skills
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships
- Experience in identifying customer drivers, buying and decision making behaviour
- Knowledge and understanding of the education market and challenges within this industry is desirable.
- Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, as per the RMIT Behavioural Capability Framework

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
If English is not your native language then you will be required to demonstrate a minimum English language proficiency standard at advanced level (Linguaskill business score 170), equivalent to IELTS (General) 6.5. RMIT Vietnam will require you to complete a Linguaskill test to assess your level of English before an offer of employment can be made.
