- Set up plans and implement strategies for the Material Planning & Logistics Department based on business long-term targets and objectives.
- Deploy policy targets and ensure implementation in the Materials Planning & Logistics Department in coordination with the Plant Manager.
- Link the annual appraisal of Materials Manager to policy deployment performance and achievements.
- Provide proactive support for QAD improvement activities.
- Prepare the annual budget, revise quarterly, and track actual achievements against budget or targets.
- Plan and manage resources for the Materials Planning & Logistics Department.
- Present monthly management reports and support Autoliv global initiatives.
- Mentor and coach middle management levels.
- Allocate resources for key activities such as APDS project activities and Q5 meetings.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste (MUDA).
- Lead ALV APS activities and drive 5S implementation in all responsible areas.
- Manage Production Planner to perform production planning and support lean manufacturing techniques.
- Initiate production leveling to meet line variety, utilization, and on-time delivery.
- Review production contracts to align line capacity with customer demand.
- Manage local and overseas suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Control and reduce airfreight costs for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Manage inventory to meet turns and obsolescence targets.
- Manage warehouse team, obsolescence inventory, and disposal processes.
- Conduct half-yearly and annual stock take activities and cycle count analysis.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and implement action plans for improvement.
- Manage material supply from storage to supermarket and warehouse equipment maintenance.
- Initiate and implement BOI requirements and procedures, streamline activities, and ensure compliance.
- Manage the customer service team, sales forecast, SOP, EOP timing, and system support.
- Improve system support for EDI and ASn with customers and achieve Customer OTP targets.
- Address key challenges such as stabilization of on-time delivery, discipline culture implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain key relationships with internal departments and external vendors/suppliers, customers, BOI, marketing,
purchasing, finance, and HR.
- Meet key selection criteria including education in Business/Supply chain management/Engineering, 10 years of Materials Management experience, ERP systems knowledge, APQP experience, automotive business knowledge, communication skills, and leadership.

- Possess specific knowledge in Freight Management, BOI, Logistics Cost Management, Materials Planning, Negotiation, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Customs Clearance, ERP, Inventory Management, Data Analysis, Planning, Organizing, and Time Management.
• Minimum bachelor degree or higher (Preferably Business/Supply chain management/Engineering field)
• Minimum 10 years Materials Management work experience (Preferably Automotive)
• Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems
